E-mail Instructions
We
have a .sit file (available upon request) for Macintosh computers and a Zip file for PC computers.
The eps file can also be opened in Illustrator or placed into Pagemaker.
The programs that we have are Quark, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Freehand,
Illustrator, and InDesign. If you send us files other than these, we cannot
guarantee we will be able to use them.
Please follow these simple instructions when e-mailing; this will simplify
things when we are checking your files and forwarding them to your salesperson.
When you are finished and ready to e-mail the folder back to Presentation Products, please do the following:
1. Create a new folder and name it your company's name.
2. Place all files and fonts that are being used into that folder.
If possible, please put the extension of the program for each file.
(ex: Folder.qxd, logo.ai, Folder.p65) This helps to identify the file type.3. Compress the folder using StuffIt or Zip to help avoid corruption during transfer.
4. When compressing, name the archive your company name.
5. Send files. If you know your salesperson, please give their name in the subject line of your e-mail.
6. After you have sent your e-mail, please fax order form, composite laser and separated lasers to Presentation Products at 1-724-229-8211.
7. E-mails received after 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time will be pre-flighted the following day.
8. Please note that standard production times begin upon receipt of proof approval (if required).
This process helps us keep each entire job together.
PLEASE NOTE:
• It is helpful, if you are using Freehand or Illustrator, to convert your fonts
to paths/outlines so that we do not run into a font problem. It is not required,
but helpful.
• If you do not provide color-separated lasers with your order, we will fax seps
for your approval. This service incurs a $20 fee.
• Incorrect files will delay your production and will incur additional costs.
Thank you
